The main character in the novel I’m currently writing is asexual and I’m thinking of writing a scene where she comes out to her love interest. Any suggestions on how I should do it?

Just have her go straight out and be like “yeah this is who I am. Please accept me”
I see something romantic where she explains that she loves their heart, not their parts
